Positano, the easy way
Fewer stairs, better beaches and lunch with a view.

Positano is beautiful and very steep. With small kids, the trick is to see it without climbing every stair in town.
Arrive by boat
Skip the coast road and take the ferry. You land right on the beach, and the whole town rises up in front of you like a painting.
Look up from the beach. That is the view everyone climbs for.
Where to eat
Lunch by the water, then gelato in the shade. Stay for one night if you can, so you can enjoy the evening after the day boats leave.
